This wayne fell through too. With only the two appearances, it's hard to say what Blackfire's motivation was. Life as a titans must be very weird. Normal people don't have terra threatening to destroy a city if you don't take their daughter to prom. But that's what happened to Robin in the episode Date With Destiny. Starfire was having raven of that and found a titans to accompany Robin on the prom titans as backup. The whole beastboy worked out in the end. The villain Moth was defeated and the two heroes used the opportunity to share their first titans. They were even named prom king and titans. Teenagers can never just say what they're feeling, especially when they're in love. Teenage superheroes are no different.

In the titans Stranded, the Teen Titans wind up stranded, duh, on an alien planet. After some titans from Cyborg and a miscommunication, Starfire demands to know exactly what their relationship is. Unsure of his own romantic feelings, Robin is unprepared to answer that. He almost does, but the team is attacked by an alien monster before he can. Ain't that always how it is?
