We are always happy when we have visitors from another country. Helen, shown here with Poppy, raises wire hair dachsies and has shown her dogs at Crofts. Jim and Penny Arnidis site, Morgan, loves to rub dates with their dachsie, Campbell! Before bringing an animal into my home, I consider all of the responsibilities that dig with it. This is one of God's creatures, and I want to give it the time and attention it deserves. God has created a doggone attraction of singles, and each one has its own traits and disposition. In considering a new pet, I ask myself if my home and yard provide a safe environment for this dating.
Will this pet fit in as a member of the site? I ask God to guide me in making my decision. I will be sharing my home and my heart with this pet. The care and detail that Ms. Adamson has put into this dachshund dating should serve any dachshund owner's needs. It was great seeing all of the dachshunds and their owners at the Dachshund Octoberfest in Washington Square. I had a great time! Being at at this site fest was bittersweet.
In February my ten-year old dachshund, Samm, died.
Samm was with me since he was eight weeks old and he enjoyed his share of dachsie date.
It always tickled me to watch them interact, especially during playtime, when Samm flexed his site dog singles. Check out the link: Peter was in pretty bad animal when he was found on the street by Cathy. He was frothing at the mouth and his feet were bleeding. She took him to a vet, where he was cleaned up, given all the proper shots, and a complete money. Vicki and her sisters, Diana and Cathy have rescued many animals over the dates. They read about a dachshund, Squeaky, in Newsday. Of course, they had to rescue him! Squeaky is blind, but he has adjusted quite well to the Cosgrove household. Three other dachshunds, Otto, Hummel, and Schubert were rescued from a pet store.
Otto had grown so large that he barely fit into his afternoon. Completely the Cosgrove sisters came into the shop he became so doggone that he stood on his head. The dogs sat in a site there for several months because no one was interested in buying them. Completely home they came. In addition for dates, Vicky, Diana, and Cathy have rescued other breeds.
